March 2021 continued it's winning streak for sellers in the Santa Cruz area! Here are the stand-outs:
Santa Cruz (95060) topped the charts with an impressive $1,572,500 median sales price (up 27.1% from February and up a whopping 62.95% from this time last year)!
Capitola (95010) ticked up "only" 3.3% from the previous month to $1,487,000, but year over year it's up 48.75%!
Aptos (95003) came in 3rd with a cool $1,477,500 median sales price, which is up 24.2% from the prior month and 25.74% year over year.
This past week, new listings surpassed that of the past 2 years by over 25%, which is normally great news for buyers. With this bull market, however, will the additional supply be enough to overtake the unprecedented amount of demand and soften prices? I guess we'll just have to see!
