Santa Cruz Area Home Prices Continue To Soar!

Another solid month for sellers in the Santa Cruz market! Aptos is April's winner for the highest median sales price; a whopping $1.555mil, which is up 5.2% from the prior month and an impressive 38.6% from the prior year! Santa Cruz County also hit an all-time high (again) of $1.255mil, which is up 13.3% from last month and generous 32.2% from last year! Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, and Soquel all going into contract in a median of 9 days or fewer and are selling for as much as 116% of asking (Capitola).

The good news for buyers is that the week that just ended 05/01/2021 added 100 new listings, which is higher than the past few years, so we're seeing a good trend of supply coming on!
